Our Champion Summer Camps can offer extra training to those who have prior experience. To the ones that have had no prior experience or little (backyard) experience we offer Beginning Level Summer Camps for you as well.
Level I -Saber- Advanced Fencing Camp for Youth Level Fencers ages 7-13
High level training before the US Summer Nationals. We have an advanced level training camp that will prepare you for the competition that you will encounter. Even if you are not going to the Summer Nationals this camp will show you what it will take to become a high level fencer. This course is strongly advised for Intermediate and above level fencers. You must have your own electrical fencing gear.
In the course you will learn advanced tactics, footwork, bladework and be video taped during lessons and during fencing. High level game-plans will be discussed and perfected during the camp. Each participant will be given a private lesson per day.
Dates: June 9-13, 2008 (5 days)
Weapon: Saber
Times: 12:pm - 5pm (Early drop off and late pick can be arranged)
Cost: $200

Introduction level in all three weapons for anyone who is interested in seeing which blade is the right one for you. During the Introduction level training camp we will take the time to show you foil, epee and saber in a fun, nurturing and inviting environment. We will also have many mini-tournaments during the week with prizes for all. Snacks will be given during break times. This camp is strongly advised for anyone who is looking at this sport to try but has no idea which blade you might like. The camp will provide all the fencing gear for you. You will only need to wear a t-shirt, long pants (no shorts) and athletic shoes, (no sandals) and a water bottle.
All participants will receive a free fencing t-shirt
Dates: July 14-18, 2008 (5 days)
Weapon: All Three/ Epee, Saber,Foil
