How to know
what
tournament to
go to.
Anyone may enter into any Red Rock tournament as long as you are also a USFF (United States Fencing Federation) member in good standing. You may gain a one day USFF membership pass for $5 as well.
USFF membership is $20, good for one year from date of purchase.
All USFA tournaments require USFA membership. Cost is $60 and is only good from August 1, 2010 to July 31, 2011 no matter when you purchase the membership. (Kinda stupid)
Desert Blade Tournaments have their own requirements. See tournament eligibility requirements for each of their tournaments via askfred or tournament flyers.
Red Rock is not associated nor runs any of the Desert Blade tournaments.
All tournaments require full fencing gear.

Stab & Grab Tournaments
One of our most popular programs is the weekly Stab & Grab fencing tournament. Stabbing is the tournament and Grabbing is the food. Drop in Sundays at 2 p.m. for this free, five-touch bout, direct-elimination competition. Stay for the potluck after the tournament and to continue fencing with your friends. We have extra equipment for rent if needed. Rental cost is $10 for full gear and $5 for a blade and body cord.

Youth Tournaments
- Our Youth tournaments are for age groups 4-6; 6-8; 8-10 and 8-12 in all three weapons. All tournaments are electric and require electric lames and weapons except for 4-6 year old events. We have electric plastic blades for those events. Rental fee for Youth events 6-12 for lame (electric fencing jacket) and blade and body cord is $5. Must be a USFF member and a Red Rock member in good standing before you can enter the event. All forms are at the front desk. USFF membership for youth is $10 a year and Red Rock membership for 4-6 year olds is $50 for 6 months.
Team Tournaments
These are fun and exciting tournaments because a team can consist of 2 or 3 fencers, depending on the type of team tournament, and can be of any age, ranking or gender. Seeding is done by random order unless otherwise noted.
Open Tournaments
Anyone from age 13 on up to senior/veteran age can enter into the event.
Ironman Tournaments
Anyone from age 13 on up to senior/veteran age can enter into the event. This is an event that consists of each person doing all three events, one right after the other.This event takes a lot of stamina to complete. It is an all day event. Rental fees apply if you do not have the right equipment. Equipment subject to first come first served. $10 per event.
