Competitive and Olympic-Style Training

For those who become passionate and serious about fencing, the Red Rock Fencing Center offers competitive training to prepare you for national and international tournaments.
Both youth and adult fencers in our center compete regularly. Youth fencers and their parents must help with four Red Rock Fencing Center tournaments a year to learn how tournaments are conducted.
Adult Training
Fencing offers competitions for adults and also veteran age categories in local, regional, national and international competitions. If you are interested in training for and traveling to these competitions, contact the Red Rock Fencing Center Head Coach to set up a specialized training program. Call (702) 222-1901.
The Red Rock Fencing Center offers Olympic-style training for junior and senior fencers.
This program provides elite training for the fencing athlete. This level acclimates the student to the rigors of competitive fencing and prepares them for success to the highest level.
We provide video training and special one-on-one live sessions. Competitive fencers are part of our team.
What you will learn
■ Advanced foot and blade work combinations
■ Advanced mental training and drilling
■ Team, tactical and situational bouting
■ How to analyze your fencing style and tactics from video taped lessons and discussions
Team
Team members travel with the team to all non-local tournaments including national and international events. Strip coaching and tournament warm-ups at all local, sectional, national and international events is provided at this level. An added cost will apply for coach’s travel, and hotel costs to any non-local tournaments. All costs will be above the monthly fees and will be divided by all attending team members.
