Frank Van Dyke
Frank Van Dyke, the Red Rock Fencing Center Director, is a certified board member of the UFF Fencing Coaches Association and former certified member of the US Fencing Coaches Association and has more than 30 years of fencing and coaching experience.
Frank teaches and competes in all three weapons and is a nationally-rated referee in all three weapons. Recently, Frank served as the Pacific Coast Section Chair for 13 years.
Frank trained under the legendary fencing masters of Dr. Bill O' Brien of Letterman Fencing Center; Peter Pastel, Russian Olympic coach; Marcos Lucchetti, Argentina Olympic member and a former coach at Princeton University. Frank also lived, studied and trained from 1984-86 under Emil Beck, German National Olympic coach; and Gabriel Nillaba, Polish Olympic coach at Tauberbishofsheim, Germany, where the West German Olympic Training Center is located. Frank is a current world class "A" rated épée fencer, and he is s a specialist in strip tactics, team tactics and using the mental game to win.

■ The only "A" rated fencer in Nevada rated in both fencing federations at the same time.
